Lego Tatooine Battle Pack 75198 from Aliexpress
Hey brick fans, I'm back with a review of this generic branded replica of
the Lego Tatooine Battle Pack set 75198. On brick4.com, this set is
listed as K-card model K-006 but I'm not sure how accurate the set
info is. Interesting note about the Lego set 75198, it was released in
January 2018 and subsequently retired in the same year. Does that make
the original set rare? Let me know.
It took about two and a half weeks for the set to get delivered from
Aliexpress. I paid $12.77 CDN for this approx 110 piece set. The
instructions are printed one a two sided sheet.
Here's all of the parts removed from the three cellophane bags.
Here is the completed Jawa service vehicle. It has a lift arm
mounted to a turntable that is used to lift droids and other mechanical
pieces for the Jawas to service and resell. There are a couple of
handy tools attached such as the wrench and mallet. It's also
equipped with two front firing stud shooters. The model itself is
static (e. it doesn't move or roll) with technic bricks used to represent
wheels with tracks.
As with the original Lego set, there are 4 minifigures, two Jawas, 1
Tusken Raider and 1 astromech R3-T2 droid. The K-006 set came with a
few extra pieces as shown above. I found the minifigures to be
decent copies of the originals. Apparently the R3-T2 droid is
unique to this set and doesn't appear in any other Lego set.
Thanks to an eagle eyed redditor, you can still find this set on Aliexpress. The store I bought from has no more stock. Thanks u/Embarrassed_Pen_4532!!
