FunWhole just sent me the new Record Store building block set to review.
The Record Store is part of the Street Fusion series of buildings and the set
number is F9058 with 1980 pieces. In this post, I'll focus on the
set unboxing. I'll review the build and give you my thoughts in a future
blog post.
The set is priced at only $135USD right now during the special Christmas
promotion. The retail price of the set is normally 25% more.
Check out all of the set details on the FunWhole website: https://www.funwhole.com/products/record-store-1980pcs?ref=tN9EBQmQ
If you're in Canada, you even save on the sales tax right now because of the
government's temporary tax relief program. The total price including
free shipping is $138.75 CDN. The regular retail price for the
FunWhole Record store is $185+tax.
Unboxing the FunWhole Record Store
Even though the set contains 1980 pieces, the box was heavy! So glad
that it's super sturdy. Here's the side panel of the box showing each
of the different character minifigures. I count a total of 6 uniquely
FunWhole minifigures.
The Record store is part of the new Street Fusion Theme of which the other
two sets are the Chili Dog Trailer and the Skate Shop.
Wow, the box is packed full of parts. I don't think you could anything
else to it!
There are a total of three instruction manuals!
There are a total of three instruction manuals!
A lot of bags crammed into the box.
Counting the bags backwards, so I can put them back into the box.
Step 11: 3 bags
Step 9: 3 bags
Extras: 3 bags
Total parts bags in the set: 40 bags.
Looks like we are good to start building, now that we have completely unboxed
the Record Store.
I'll update this post once the set is built and provide more pics and my
thoughts on the set. Stay tuned!
